Over the course of two days, you’ll learn every essential component of building an assisted living home from the ground up—starting with licensing, legal setup, and property selection. Tiffany breaks down the difference between license types, the application process, state requirements, and what inspectors look for during walkthroughs. You’ll learn how to evaluate properties, prepare floor plans, assess safety and accessibility, and understand what makes a home truly licensable. You’ll also walk through realistic startup costs, budgeting, and the financial structure of a 6–8-bed home so you know exactly what to expect before you start investing. Day Two focuses on what brings your home to life: staffing, daily operations, admissions, paperwork, and resident care. Tiffany teaches her proven caregiver scheduling models, daily flow systems, medication management practices, and admissions processes used at Serenity Gardens. You’ll learn how to run your home efficiently, create systems that protect your staff and residents, and develop the operational confidence required to maintain compliance, quality, and excellence. She also covers marketing strategies, referral relationships, community outreach, and how to fill your beds using ethical, effective methods that families trust. Throughout the workshop, you’ll receive real-world examples, checklists, templates, and guidance that eliminate guesswork and empower you to make informed decisions.
